MOLEX PRICE INCREASE EFFECTIVE 1/1/2012

Subject: Price Increase Effective January 1, 2012

To address the impact of increases in material, transportation and energy-related costs, we are adjusting prices on many Brad®, Aero-Motive® and Woodhead® products effective January 1, 2012. We continue to work diligently to negate as much of the cost increases as possible through the implementation of productivity improvements. However, with many metal commodity prices at all time highs, Molex cannot fully absorb all material cost increases.

Please note: we are only increasing prices on the product families listed below. For product families not shown, there will not be a price increase; however, there may be some minor adjustments that will affect prices for select part numbers.

Please also note the following price increase implementation on future orders:
• All orders placed after December 31, 2011 will reflect the new higher pricing noted above.
• All orders placed prior to December 31, 2011, will be entered at the prices currently in effect for shipment through February 28, 2012.
• All shipments after February 28, 2012 will be invoiced at the new higher pricing regardless of their order entry date,
• Revised price books will be available electronically no later than December 1, 2011.

In addition, Molex will be simplifying our Customer Discount Code (CDC) structure to coincide with the January 1 price increase. We will have only 3 product designations:
1) Electrical, Safety and Industrial (Woodhead and Aero-Motive products)
2) Automation (Brad and mPm products)
3) Software and Electronics (SST, Applicom, Direct-Link and related products)
We trust this new alignment will be much easier to understand and facilitate faster response time to our end customers. The new discount codes will be announced well before they are implemented with the price increase on January 1.

We remind you of our Brad Connectivity and Woodhead Express items that Molex will deliver in an average of 5 working days from receipt of order as a commitment to exceptional service levels for our valued distributor partners.

Molex remains committed to producing the highest quality products for use in harsh and rugged environments and will continue to manage costs through this challenging business environment. For certain segments of business where competition exists, please utilize Special Price Approval (SPA) to capture or retain the business.
